The Big Parade is a 1925 American silent war drama film directed by King Vidor and starring John Gilbert, René Adre, Hobart Bosworth, Tom O'Brien, and Karl Dane.
The film, written by World War I veteran Lawrence Stallings, tells the story of an idolatrous rich boy who joins the U.S.
Army's Rainbow Division and is sent to France to fight in World War I, where he befriends two working-class men, experiences the horrors of trench warfare, and falls in love with a French girl.
