The Rotten Apple, It Only Takes Five Minutes is a 1963 American drama film directed by John Hayes.

Synopsis:
Ben, Edna, and their baby daughter are heading to California when their car breaks down and Ben goes to a junkyard to find spare parts to fix it.

Coincidentally, the police had just charged Harry, the junkyard owner, with selling stolen car parts.

Ben wanders into the junkyard, and it's time for Harry to falsely lie on Ben and use him as his substitute.

When Ben doesn't return for a long time, Edna goes looking for him and is chased through a junkyard by Harry's strange and dumb friend Blowhard.
