Synopsis:
Droegan, the outlaw leader thought to be dead, appears in the town of Yellow Dog.

The townspeople believe him to be the strong and law-abiding William Blake.

They appoint him as sheriff to eliminate the thugs who are about to take over the town.

He does it smoothly, strictly follows the law, and becomes a respected member of the town's society.

However, one of Egan's old gang, Arizona Joe, shows up.

Egan's old pal Arizona Joe shows up at Yellow Dog and threatens to reveal Egan's true identity if he doesn't help his old pal take over the town.
