The Iron Mask is a 1929 American part-talkie adventure film directed by Alan Dwan.

Synopsis:
King Louis XIII of France was excited about the birth of his son, the heir to the throne.

However, when the queen gives birth to twins, Cardinal Richelieu sees the second son as a potential revolutionary and sends him to Spain to be raised in secret in order to protect France's peaceful future.

But keeping the secret means sending d'Artagnan's lover Constance to a convent.

When d'Artagnan hears this, he rallies his musketeers to rescue her.

Unfortunately, Richelieu outsmarts the Musketeers and banishes them forever.
