Synopsis:
A tough district attorney has cleaned out the town and has already jailed 12 dangerous criminals.
Just as he is about to decide on the next target of the investigation, he is killed in the crowd.
The police have many possible suspects, but there are few clues, so two reporters decide to investigate on their own.
