Mutiny in the Big House is a 1939 American film directed by William Nye.

Synopsis:
A young man who forged a check to help his mother was caught and sentenced to 14 years in prison.

The prison chaplain realizes that the new boy is a good man who is down on his luck, and helps him stay out of trouble so that he can serve his sentence and get out.

However, the impostor in his cell believes that the chaplain's interest in the young inmate can be used to plan his escape.
