The Bat is a 1959 American mystery film directed by Crane Wilbur and starring Vincent Price and Agnes Moorehead.

Synopsis:
The country house ``Oaks'' rented by mystery writer Cornelia Van Gorder was not long ago the scene of a murder by a strange thug called ``Bat.'' Meanwhile, the mansion's owner, bank president John Fleming, recently embezzled $1 million in securities and hid the proceeds in the mansion, but is killed before he can get the money back.

The deserted country house soon becomes the scene of many mysterious and dangerous activities.
