1920 silent film directed by John Francis Dillon and starring Mary Pickford.
The film is based on the British stage play Op o' Me Thumb, which premiered in London in 1904 and was performed in New York the following year, starring Maud Adams, as a prelude to her appearance in Peter and Wendy.
Synopsis:
The daughter of a London washerwoman tries to improve her status in order to win the love of a wealthy young man, but in doing so, she misses out on the true love of her classmate.
