Synopsis:
Jay (George Segal) used to be a hairdresser, but now he's found a new career as a heroin addict.

He extorts money from his best friend Billy Dynamite (Jay Fletcher) and does odd jobs for a drug dealer called The Geek.

However, Jay soon realizes that working as a police informant is more lucrative.

Meanwhile, he begins a delicate romance with Palm (Karen Black), a woman he met while trying to steal a car.
