Synopsis:
A man receives a request to meet his old friend Roderick Asher.

Locals in the village warn him to stay away from the creepy Usher mansion.

When the man arrives home, he finds Roderick obsessed with painting a portrait of his wife, Madeleine.

As Roderick becomes more determined to capture Madeleine's life on canvas, Madeleine collapses and dies.

They place her body in the Catacombs of Usher.

However, Roderick, who has lost his mind, insists that Madeleine is not dead and will come back to life.
